Chaffetz: Airport Security Inefficiency

Congressman Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) gives his opening statement at the U.S. House Oversight & Government Reform Subcommittee meeting on National Security. The meeting takes place in the wake of news that there have been over 25,000 airport security breaches since November 2001, to which Chaffetz responded, "these are just the ones we know about. I think it's a stunningly high number."

"A lot of what we have been participating here in my personal opinion has been security theater and has not truly done the job to secure the airports to the degree that we need to."
