So you’ve joined the R3VOLUTION! …Now what?

1.  Update your profile

Tell us a little bit about yourself, and let people who join know that we are an active group.  To do so, go to “My Dashboard”> “Settings.”   

2.  Upload a picture & avatar

It’s always good to put a face with a name.  This can be done in the same “settings” panel as your profile.  Since there are size limits on these uploads, you can use this free photo editing software to resize your photos quickly and painlessly.  After downloading, installing, and opening this program, you can shrink the file by going to “image” > “resize/resample.”  Feel free to give Doug Bach a call if you need help walking through this.

3.  Come to an event 

Be sure to check our events calendar on the DuPage County page frequently, and RSVP to let us know if you plan on attending our next event.  The more people actually RSVP, the better we can anticipate our numbers and plan accordingly.

4.  Start networking 

We recommend starting at your dashboard, and finding the "find more contacts in your area" link the right panel under "contacts."   To add a contact, click on “add as contact” next to their username.  Be sure to check on the right panel of your dashboard for incoming requests from other members.

Also keep up to date on recent contact blogs by going to your dashboard and scrolling down to the “contacts’ blog entries” section on the right panel.  This is a good way to make sure you know what others in your community are up to.  Don’t be shy, comment on what you read – it’s always nice to know someone is reading them!

5.  Become a Precinct Leader
