Long before the forces of tyranny dug their claws into our nation, our founders fought to loose us from the chains of despotism. Their vision was pure, just, and good.  Campaign For Liberty looks to continue that vision.  The mission of the Campaign For Liberty is to promote and defend the great American principles of individual liberty, constitutional government, sound money, free markets, and a noninterventionist foreign policy.  This is done by means of educational and tactical political activity.

In election after election, we see officials in both major parties have taken away our liberties, bankrupted our nation, and increased the size of government by leaps and bounds.  Those of us who live and work in Arlington can see this grossly inflated government all too well. More than 200 years ago, a liberty movement took place with approximately 10% of the population behind it.  That 10% was vastly outnumbered by those loyal or indifferent to the forces of big government in their lives.

Before the celebrations, barbecues, and fireworks shows of today, a small group of people risked their lives to free us from government tyranny.  More than 200 years ago they were called defectors, rebels, and traitors.  Today we call them founders, heroes, and patriots.  Today we owe our nation's founding to these revolutionaries.  Through education, hard work, and an unwavering dedication to the true tenets of liberty, their movement was successful.

Even with an unwavering resolve, creating a true liberty movement does not happen overnight.  A nation wide movement happens state by state.  A state wide movement happens district by district.  A district wide movement happens county by county.

Revolution occurs in the heart and the mind long before it occurs in a field or on a hilltop.  We must further our cause on a personal level before we can expect to be successful on a grander scale.  Imagine if only 10% of the population of Arlington was dedicated to freedom and joined the Campaign for Liberty.  Each modern day patriot has their own battlefield on which to spread the liberty movement.  Ours is Arlington, Virginia.

Together we can seize this opportunity and bring liberty back to our community.  Our cause is too important to wait for someone else to take charge
