Statists regularly mock libertarians for being "selfish" because we do not believe in spending other people's money on worthwhile causes. Instead, we spend our own money or encourage others to voluntary support charitable efforts.
For example, libertarian activist Glenn "Kane" Jacobs is helping raise money for the East Tennessee Children's Hospital by participating in the Dancing with Knoxville Stars.
