The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has banned the latest innovation in the sharing economy: plane sharing, where pilots offer plane rides exchange for gas money. Of course, the good folks at the FAA are doing this to protect us from getting into unsafe planes and not in order to protect the existing airlines from competition right...right...
