WHO WE ARE GET INVOLVED CANDIDATE SURVEYS ON THE ISSUES ABOUT AUDIT THE FED

Government Ruins Everything

Even pro-wrestling...

While not really ruining it, government regulations were the reason Vince McMahon admitted that the outcome of WWE matches are "pre-determined."

As long as pro-wrestling maintained that they were traditional athletic contests, they were forced to comply with regulations of State Athletic Commissions. They also had to obtain licenses for their wrestlers, referees (anyone who has ever seen a pro-wrestling match knows that the main job of the referees is to not pay attention when the bad guys cheat), and timekeepers. The athletic commission also got a percentage of their box office sales.

Considering the number of live events the WWE puts on in a year, complying with the State Athletic regulations added up to quite a cost. So Vince McMahon decided to get out from under the thumb of the commissions by admitting that pro-wrestling is not a traditional sport but rather sports entertainment.

Instead of doling out tax dollars, maybe former WWE CEO and current nominee to head the Small Business Administration Linda McMahon should dole out advice on how to avoid government rules and regulations.
