Another LPAC speaker I am really excited about is Jack Hunter, editor of RARE Liberty. As I am sure many know, Jack was the official blogger for Ron Paul 2012. Jack is not only a top-notch writer and editor, but he is also a great speaker and a passionate advocate for liberty and constitutional government. Jack is particularly adept at explaining how Ron Paul libertarianism is consistent with traditional conservatism, and how any political party or movement hoping to remain relevant in the 21st century must adopt the ideas of liberty.
Full disclosure--Jack is one of my best friends, and while we do not agree on everything (Jack comes from a more traditionalist "Old Right" conservative tradition, whereas my political and economic philosophy is rooted in Rothbardian libertarianism), as Campaign for Liberty Chairman Ron Paul says, "Liberty brings people together." People of different backgrounds, religions, and even from different political traditions can come together to work on a shared goal of restoring a free society.
Speaking of which... Jack met his girlfriend at LPAC 2011, and they started dating shortly after seeing each other again at LPAC 2012. Now, I am not saying you will meet the love of your life at LPAC, but you will meet people who will become life-long movement colleagues and friends.
LPAC 2014 is just a week away, so get your tickets now!
