WHO WE ARE GET INVOLVED CANDIDATE SURVEYS ON THE ISSUES ABOUT AUDIT THE FED

2011 Candidate Survey

Louisiana Campaign for Liberty Members,

Can you depend on common sense from the government?

ITEM:  Police shut down lemonade stand run by two little girls

ITEM:  SWAT team raids Amish farm for selling milk straight from the cow

ITEM: Federal Bureaucrats fine Missouri family $4 million for their son’s sale of $4500 worth of rabbits

No wonder nearly 80% of Americans believe this country is going in the wrong direction.  It is as if government bureaucrats have gone off the deep end and blissfully ignore the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

For the last decade the Bush and Obama administrations have been running roughshod over innocent citizens who just need to fly across country to comfort a hurting relative or tend to a family emergency.  The TSA treats the area between the ticket gate and the door to the airplane as the old Soviet Union – demanding to see your papers and to see you naked in their scanners or to be felt up by their people if you dare refuse.

Hope is not a strategy and praying for common sense to be exercised by government officials is no longer an option.

We have to start repealing the laws that bureaucrats are using to run roughshod over the citizens.

That is why the Louisiana Campaign for Liberty sent every candidate for state legislature a survey of seven basic questions.  Important questions that you need to know a straight answer to before you vote this weekend.

Here are some examples:

  • Will you oppose efforts to cooperate with a national ID card system and vote to block all state funding for and cooperation with any national ID scheme including the Real ID and Pass ID programs?
  • Do you oppose the use of unmanned devices being used for law enforcement and given the power to fine citizens?
  • Will you support legislation that would allow TSA agents to be charged with sexual assault if they use invasive “pat-down” procedures?

Sincerely,

Chris Hand
