Obama's Independence Day surprise: More Regulations

Last Thursday, as most Americans where getting ready to celebrate Independence Day, the Department of Health and Human Services was busy releasing 1,296 pages of new regulations regarding Medicare reimbursement rates for physicians and hospitals. The regulations where released at 4:15 p.m. I have not seen any detailed analysis of the regulations, but the fact that where released in the late afternoon before a holiday weekend suggests there is something controversial buried in those 1,296 pages.

Announcing new health care regulations around the Fourth of July has become a tradition for the Obamacare administration. Last year, the administration used the Fourth of July to announce  they where delaying the employer mandate and that they would not verify if those applying for Obamacare subsidies actually qualified for the subsidies.  Maybe the administration started this tradition after hearing Nancy 'We need to pass the bill to find out what is in it" Pelosi suggest Obamacare is one of the things we should be celebrating on the Fourth.

Campaign for Liberty looks forward to celebrating the repeal of Obamacare, and many other federal laws.
