Sen. Paul on Obama's Jobs Plan

Latest press release from the office of Senator Rand Paul:

WASHINGTON,  D.C. - In light of President Obama's presentation of his so-called jobs plan to Congress this evening, Sen. Rand Paul offered the following statement:

"The urgency with which the President is pushing his jobs proposal on Congress is cause for alarm.  Much like Obamacare was rammed down the throats of legislators - and to which then-Speaker Pelosi quipped we have to pass it to see what's in it - the President's jobs plan has fuzzy math, tax hikes and long-term repayment on short-term spending.  The President is proposing a nearly half-trillion dollar stimulus - once again, following the same failed policies we saw with his last exorbitant spending spree.  Paying for another stimulus on the backs of job creators in the form of tax hikes is illogical - and the one year of spending will take 10 more to actually be paid for."
