WHO WE ARE GET INVOLVED CANDIDATE SURVEYS ON THE ISSUES ABOUT AUDIT THE FED

Virginians, Take Action!

Earlier this week, Virginians took action to help HB 1160, a bill to prevent Virginia from assisting the US government in detaining American citizens under the NDAA, sail through the Virginia Senate.  Now, Delegate Bob Marshall is requesting our help again to guarantee the amended HB 1160 passes the Virginia House of Delegates and is signed into law by the Governor.

The current, amended version of HB 1160 reads:

“1. § 1. Notwithstanding any contrary provision of law, no agency or political subdivision of the Commonwealth, or employee of same acting in his official capacity, shall aid an agency of the United States in the unlawful detention of any United States citizen pursuant to 50 U.S.C. § 1541 as provided by the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012 (P.L.112-81, § 1021)."

If you live in Virginia, please take the time to contact your delegate and urge them to support HB 1160 as amended; you can find their contact information here.

After you've contacted your delegate, please contact Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell by email and by phone at (804) 786-2211 and urge him to sign HB 1160.  Previously, the Governor had expressed reservations about the bill, and it is of the utmost importance he realize the support this bill has from Virginians.

Virginia is once again on its way to becoming the first state to stand up and fight back against an unconstitutional powergrab the way it did against ObamaCare's individual mandate by passing the Virginia Health Freedom Act.
