WHO WE ARE GET INVOLVED CANDIDATE SURVEYS ON THE ISSUES ABOUT AUDIT THE FED

NOT THE BEES

Interested in taking up beekeeping?  Move to Virginia, where you can get government subsidies to raise bees:

The Virginia General Assembly created the Beehive Grant Fund to promote the establishment of new beehives.

Under the program, people can apply for a grant from the fund to cover the cost of purchasing a new hive or materials to construct a new hive.

The grant will pay for the actual expenses incurred up to $200 per hive, not exceeding $2,400 per person, per year.

Defenders of this program say it is necessary to ensure a sufficient bee population to adequately pollinate Virginia-grown produce.  This may be true, but isn't there a way to address the demand for bees that does not require stinging Virginia taxpayers?
