Two hundred and thirty five years ago, our forefathers pledged their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor in defense of their natural right to live as free individuals in a free society.
They recognized that these rights came not from princes or parliaments, but from our Creator--rights that no man or government, however powerful, could legitimately deprive anyone of.
Today, as we enjoy our time off work with friends, family, and loved ones, let us remember the commitment these signers of the Declaration of Independence made with each other and the price that their generation paid so we could enjoy liberty.
Now, as then, our freedoms are in grave danger, and thankfully, Campaign for Liberty members have risen to the challenge.
Over the past three years, our young organization has experienced tremendous growth and now wields considerable influence in our towns, states, and at the national level.
Your tireless efforts with Audit the Fed last Congress allowed us to pull back the curtain and take a glimpse at the Federal Reserve’s books for the first time in its nearly 100-year history.
Though our work is not yet finished on this front--Americans still deserve a full and thorough audit of the Fed--we have made great progress, as nearly three-quarters of Americans continue to favor a complete audit!
The challenges we face are numerous. During these tough economic times, we too must endure our own set of hardships, but the liberty movement continues to press on.
C4L has successfully championed states’ rights in the face of federal tyranny. You and I have taken on the nation’s secretive central bank and made it blink. We’ve advanced on issues including health freedom, gun rights, civil liberties, and the right to hold a job without being forced to pay up to union bosses.
As we continue to fight to secure not only our own rights, but also those of future generations, I thank you for all you do in defense of our liberties--including your continued financial support during this economic crisis.
On this day, let us honor and renew the commitment our Founders made together and persevere until we Reclaim the Republic and Restore the Constitution!
