We the citizens of West Virginia hereby call for the resignation of Joseph “Joe” Manchin III as United States Senator from West Virginia.
Whereas: Senator Manchin has refused to uphold his oath to defend the Constitution of the United States of America, and
Whereas: Senator Manchin has repeatedly attempted to violate the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution, and
Whereas: Senator Manchin has committed perjury to his oath of office in his refusal to protect and defend the 2nd Amendment.
Therefore, be it resolved that we the citizens of West Virginia no longer have faith that Senator Joe Manchin is faithfully executing his sworn duty to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America, nor is he representing the best interest, safety, welfare, and values of the citizens of West Virginia, but rather the Washington, D.C. elite
We therefore call for Joseph “Joe” Manchin to immediately resign his elected position as Junior Senator from West Virginia.
