To Governor Brownback, Senate President Wagle, House Speaker Ryckman, and my State Legislators:
Whereas: Susan Wagle and her moderate pals in Topeka recently tried to pass the largest tax hike in Kansas history, including tax hikes that would be applied retroactively, and
Whereas: In 2017 the state of Kansas will spend over $5,400 for every person living in Kansas, and
Whereas: Hardworking Kansans can't afford to fix Topeka's spending problem with new taxes, and
Whereas: The massive new tax hikes being proposed would devastate small businesses,entrepreneurs, farmers, and particularly the poor and middle class.
Therefore: I demand you publicly oppose and vote against every Kansas tax hike scheme, and
Therefore: I call on you to demand recorded roll call votes on every bill and every motion that involves a tax increase.
