Stop Federal Theft of Private Kansas Land

The feds want to steal our land - Kansas land - owned by farmers and ranchers in our state.

You see, the feds like to use environmental and wildlife regulations to steal land and use it for their own purposes.

On March 27th, the federal government declared the Lesser Prairie Chicken to be a threatened species.

Sounds harmless enough, but it means that owners of many thousands of acres of productive Kansas land could face regulations, taxes, and penalties, and even be forced to not farm or graze their land - all to supposedly protect a prairie chicken.

That's why it's extremely important you sign and share our petition supporting firm and clear language in SB276 to stand up to the feds and their attempted land grabs.  SB276 was presented in the Senate with strong language, protecting Kansans.  The Senate first weakened and passed the bill, then the House destroyed the bill, removing what little protections were left.  SB276 is worthless in its current form.  The legislature needs to change it, or amend another bill to ensure the State of Kansas can protect its citizens from federal land grabs!

Sign and share our petition to demand our Kansas legislators pass legislation that would actually protect the sovereignty of our state and citizens from unaccountable federal bureaucrats who twist the law to take our land.
