Whereas: Governor Cooper is making an end-run around the legislature, in violation of North Carolina law, in order to force ObamaCare expansion on North Carolinians; and
Whereas: ObamaCare expansion will bring less health care freedom, more fraud, and lower quality medical care to North Carolina; and
Whereas: ObamaCare is failing rapidly and the only real solution is to repeal it in its entirety, not to expand a costly, optional provision, which North Carolina taxpayers cannot afford.
Therefore: I demand that Governor Cooper withdraw his Medicaid expansion request and cease all attempts to expand ObamaCare in North Carolina.
