I was born in Sandpoint and graduated from Clark Fork High School.  I've dabbled in writing.  I won 1st place, non-fiction category, in the Coeur d' Alene Library 2007 Annual Short Story contest.  I also won an internet short story contest a few years back. I have written a novelette titled, The Grim Shadow: A Modern-Day Fable (political/social satire).  I had campaigned for Pat Buchanan in 2000 and wrote the story as a sort of therapy to help regain my sanity and restore my equilibrium after the election madness.  www.thegrimshadow.com  Buchanan was given ten million taxpayer dollars for his campaign and still they kept him out of the debates.  Where was the logic in that?

I campaigned for Ron Paul last winter. Exciting (nippy) times!
