About Me

Welcome to the American Patriot Party National Chair User Profile Page on Campaign for Liberty

Education of the Original Intent of the Founders is the most important component of Freedom.
Scroll "Way Down" for our Blog.

We Invite everyone to visit the American Patriot Party.CC website that present these MUST READ documents:

1.) The Virginia and
Kentucky Resolutions 1798 (approximately 2 pages in length):
http://www.pacificwestcom.com/candidates
2.) John Locke on Civil Government 1689 (approximately 8 pages in length):
http://www.pacificwestcom.com/oregonpatriotparty/Locke_Civil_Government/locke_civil_government.html
3.) Did you know?
Samuel Adams "Absolute Rights of the Colonists, 1772" is a 1 page general summary of John Locke's Civil Government 1689; Word for word in some instances:
http://www.pacificwestcom.com/oregonpatriotparty/Rights_of_the_Colonists/rights_of_the_colonists.html
4.) Virginia Ratifying Convention 6-16-1788 (approximately 8 pages in length):
http://www.pacificwestcom.com/americanpatriotpartynewsletter
Patrick Henry:
style="color: rgb(0, 0, 255);">
"...We are told, we are afraid to trust ourselves; that our own
representatives Congress will not exercise their powers oppressively;
that we shall not enslave ourselves; that the militia cannot enslave
themselves, Who has enslaved France,
Spain, Germany, Turkey, and other countries which groan under tyranny? They have been enslaved by the hands of their "OWN PEOPLE". If it will be so in America, it will be only as it has been every
where else."
Mr. Corbin: "...Animadverting on Mr. Henry's observations, that the French had been the instruments of their own slavery, that the Germans had enslaved the Germans, and the Spaniards the Spaniards, he asked if those nations knew any thing of "representation". The want of "this knowledge" was the "principal" cause of their bondage.
He concluded by observing that the general government had no power but such as the state government had, and that arguments against the one held against the other."
Edmund Pendleton:"...With respect to the
necessity of the TEN MILES SQUARE (Washington D.C. - Federal
Government) being superseded by the subsequent clause, which gives them power to make all laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into execution the "foregoing" powers, and all other powers vested by this Constitution in the government of the United States, or in any department or officer thereof, I understand that clause as not going a "SINGLE STEP BEYOND"
the >>>"DELEGATED POWERS".
What can it act upon? Some power given by this Constitution.
If they should be about to pass a law in consequence of this clause, they must pursue some of the "DELEGATED" powers, but can by >>>"NO MEANS" DEPART from them, or "ARROGATE" >>>"ANY NEW" powers; for the "PLAIN LANGUAGE" of
the clause is, to give them power to pass laws in order to give
"effect" to the >>>"DELEGATED" powers."
John Locke in his treatise on Civil Government describes clearly that
the LEGISLATIVE "REMOVES ITSELF" from power when it exceeds the powers granted it in the "ORIGINAL COMPACT" which it was granted very defined and very limited powers by those who created it.
(Relate this to the Virginia and Kentucky Resolutions)
Further, Locke notes that powers are also lost and its acts
an act of war against the people when they "endanger the properties" or "designedly impoverish" its citizens.
These are a few easily to read documents that underscore the
definition of freedom, and that freedom is defined and not anything we want it to be;
Clearly established by John Locke and the Founders.APP Entries
