About Me

Several members of my family have been active in politics. My mother's greatgrandfather was an Iowa state senator (18 years) and two-term governor of Iowa. Her brother was a supreme court justice (appointed-Gov. Garrey Carruthers) in the State of New Mexico. My father's dad was Assistant Attorney General for the State of Iowa (1932-1936), an arbitrator for the National Labor Board, and served as Chief Counsel on the US Senate Subcommittee on Elections and Privileges (1951). My father is currently working for the Travis County, TX, (TCAD 227) Appraisal Review Board.
