I became involved in the Ron Paul 2008 presidential campaign in late 2007. Stepping way outside my comfort zone, I became a Meetup organizer in both Hall and Lumpkin counties. Getting involved in the campaign process was perhaps the most transformative experience of my life. The knowledge of the corruption of politicians and government institutions, and of the realities of government intervention have put me in a position whereby I can't afford NOT to continue with my activism. This fervor for freedom resides in me today.
Recently, I have stepped up to the position of Fulton County Coordinator at the behest of Nathan Adams the incumbent county coordinator. Both Nathan and I will be coordinating events and actions in Fulton, and helping the state coordinator Ike Hall with state functions. More recently, I served as the chairman of the Georgia C4L State Action Committee (SAC) after holding the office of Secretary of that same committee. The SAC is a very active and potent group in Georgia where we hold our politicians accountable for their actions in the GA General Assembly.
