I wish C4L to understand that
Liberty, Freedom and CHOICE are all in the same ballot box.
No "CHOICE" and you alienate fully 16% of the electorate.
Those are the 1/3 of ALL women who, according to the respected Guttmacher Institute, have a pregnancy terminated during their lifetimes.
1/3 of 1/2 is 1/6th = 16%.
Sure could have used a few more million on the side of FREEDOM and LIBERTY last week!!!
Make smaller government by getting it out of the bedroom and out of the business of regulating genitals.
We SIMPLY CANNOT AFFORD A MILLION BACK ALLEY ABORTIONS SHOWING UP IN OUR EMERGENCY DEPARTMENTS EVERY YEAR - THEY ARE REALLY EXPENSIVE TO REPAIR.
PRIMARY PREVENTION FIRST, secondary prevention second when necessary.
And it IS fiscally CONSERVATIVE to do so. The only thing more expensive than cleaning up back-alley abortions is unwanted babies.
As a physician who is old enough to remember those days, I must appeal to those without those memories to learn from history.
WE MUST NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN.
