C4L surveys all Republican and Democrat candidates during the primaries and all candidates during the general elections.  Below are our questions.

Survey Questions

1.  Will you cosponsor and call for roll call votes on Ron Paul’s Audit the Fed bill, designed to bring transparency to the Federal Reserve (H.R. 459/S. 202 in the 112th Congress)?

2. Will you support legislation removing capital gains and sales taxes on gold and silver coinage?

Thanks to Campaign for Liberty’s Audit the Fed efforts, the Federal Reserve is under more scrutiny than ever before.

But considering the damage an out-of-control Fed has inflicted on our dollar and our economy over the years, you and I can’t afford to lay off the pressure to hold it accountable.

Currently, there are two open seats on the Fed’s Board of Governors, and those who eventually occupy those spots will also sit on the Federal Open Market Committee, meaning they will have tremendous influence over the direction of our economy.

It seems like hardly a day goes by that Americans don't hear about some new story involving abuse by the TSA.  Far too often, those stories concern rough treatment of little kids, the disabled, and the elderly.

Created in the wake of 9/11 to supposedly strengthen our transportation security, the TSA has instead turned into yet another massive government bureaucracy that forces Americans to give up their constitutional rights - not to mention their dignity - when traveling by air.

If you haven't yet read Mark Spitznagel's recent piece in The Wall Street Journal, "How the Fed Favors The 1%," it's well worth your time to check out and then pass on to your family and friends.

 H R 3523      RECORDED VOTE      26-Apr-2012      6:31 PM

Wednesday, April 25, 2012

Dear Representative,

On behalf of over half a million Campaign for Liberty members who are deeply concerned about government’s expanding invasions on their privacy, I urge you to vote “NO” on H.R. 3523, the “Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act of 2011” (CISPA).

The American people depend on their elected representatives to be the guardians of their privacy rights, yet CISPA opens the door for unprecedented abuse.

Tuesday, April 24, 2012

Below is a list of current cosponsors of H.R. 3523, the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act, (CISPA).

Please contact your representative right away to urge him or her to vote "NO" on this bill.  Even if their name appears on this list, they need to hear from you right away.  A vote is expected on Friday.

You can reach your representative through the congressional switchboard at (202) 224-3121, or you can find their contact information here.

This week, Congress is set to take up another so-called "cybersecurity" bill, H.R. 3523, the "Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act of 2011" (CISPA).

And this time, many of those who joined us to stop SOPA and PIPA are supporting this legislation.

So only the immediate action of you and your fellow C4L members can help protect our privacy from the government's ever-expanding reach.
