Earlier today Senator Rand Paul (R—KY) was interviewed on Fox news concerning his views on the deadlock in Congress on raising the debt ceiling and what he thinks the best ways to move forward are.
“You know I can’t really vote for any raise in the debt ceiling unless we have a balance budget amendment to the Constitution”
“He (the President) should take default off the table and he could do it at any point in time by simply saying he will continue to pay the interest on the debt.”
