Dear fellow Patriots and friends of Liberty,
I do not use the terms Patriot and Liberty flippantly.
Liberty is granted to us by our creator (in my case, by God). That is not a gift I esteem lightly. I cherish it so highly that I will risk being labeled an "enemy" of the government to stand for its true meaning.
I believe a true Patriot is one who defends liberty at all costs. Fake "patriotism" leads us to wave flags and defend our government even when it is wrong.
Fake patriotism is the result of Americans not being educated about the true principles and intentions of our founders when they wrote the Declaration of Independence.
The words are simple and clear, yet Americans are not challenged to actually read them and interpret their true meaning, line by line.
I have created a simple and entertaining animated video (maybe I am biased, but I think it is pretty cute!) that describes clearly what is meant by the most famous lines in our Declaration of Independence.
Until all Americans, young and old, udnerstand the principles upon which our republic was founded, there is little hope for true Liberty, and true Patriots will be denounced as enemies.
