Only the TSA could make a 3-year-old utter the words: "I don't wanna go to Disney World!"
In case you missed the latest TSA outrage that occurred in early February, video footage surfaced over the weekend of wheelchair-bound Lucy Forck in tears after the TSA took away her stuffed animal, and pulled her aside for secondary screening.
In the footage, you can hear the TSO inaccurately informing the family that it was illegal to film the procedure. For that, the TSA issued an apology to the family:
“TSA regrets inaccurate guidance was provided to this family during screening and offers its apology,” a TSA spokesman told Fox News in response to a story about the Forck family’s ordeal.
Of course that was followed by the standard, "We really do care..."
“We are committed to maintaining the security of the traveling public and strive to treat all passengers with dignity and respect,” the TSA spokesperson told Fox News. “While no pat-down was performed, we will address specific concerns with our workforce.”
Sorry, TSA, but that's not good enough.
After every new incident, the TSA apologizes, the media cycle continues on to new topics, and nothing changes.
True justice would involve the TSA issuing an apology to the American people for their dehumanizing, indecent screening procedures they've forced upon the traveling public.
To atone for their sins, Pistole should be writing a letter of resignation, and begging Congress to find a way to wind down this abusive agency.
Of course, man is a fallen creature, and there is much injustice in this world.
But that doesn't mean that we shouldn't take action to do something about it!
I've said it before, and I'll say it again; I'm sick and tired of writing about the TSA's assault on human dignity and repeated abuses of our liberties. It breaks my heart and turns my stomach to continue seeing story after story about Americans like little Lucy Forck, being terrorized by their own government.
