Budget Buster: Pentagon Unable to Account for

1. There is upwards of $10 trillion that the Pentagon is unable to be account for since 1991.

2.The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have cost $3 trillion so far.

3. Our current government debt is $14 trillion ...

...but the defense budget will NOT be cut as a result of the debt ceiling deal UNLESS the Super Committee does not agree on a sufficient amount of cuts.  Those who think a non-interventionist foreign policy is crazy have ZERO credibilty when they say they are against big government!

Excerpts:

"Since first submitting financial accounts in 1991, the Pentagon "has been unable to account for trillions of dollars, well over almost $10 trillion by my own account," says Glain."

"Ending operations in Iraq and Afghanistan will instantly save the defense department $180 billion per year. According to Joseph Stiglitz the wars have cost the government $3 trillion and counting."
