Londoners assemble for riot cleanup effort

Several have cited social networks like Twitter and Facebook as having an important function in spreading and fueling the on-going riots in London and other parts of the United Kingdom. Organizing as riots raged

The Twitter-organized cleaning effort started while the violence was still raging. They have gathered to clean up the mess and to make a point to the world about themselves and their city.
