Alaska GOP comes up with a great way to shrink the party

In their continuing quest to  stop liberty movement and Tea Party activists from taking leadership roles in the party, the Alaskan GOP has a new rule banning anyone from holding a leadership role unless they have been a registered Republican for at least four years. Potential candidates must also be vetted by a special committee.  Disenfranchising  newer and younger activists from leadership roles in the party seems like a strange way to attract younger voters to the GOP.
