You are cordially invited to the Montgomery County Campaign for Liberty December meeting on Tuesday, December 8, at 7 p.m.
We’ll have a guest speaker this month. Earl Johnson, of The Texas County Inspector will do a presentation on Obama's out-of-control National Security Agency (NSA).
Do you ever feel like someone is watching you?
Well, you ARE being watched. . . it’s the federal government, trying to figure out if you are a terrorist - domestic or otherwise.
If that doesn't make the hair on the back of your neck stand up, I don't know what will.
According to the Department of Homeland Security you might be a domestic terrorist if:
- You talk about civil liberties and the Constitution.
- You express Second Amendment views, are a member of a gun club, or hold a Concealed Handgun License (another good reason to pass Constitutional Carry legislation).
- You are a Christian that references the Bible.
- You home school your children.
- You buy gold or express fear of an economic collapse.
- At one time, you were even suspect if you had Campaign for Liberty Chairman Ron Paul's bumper sticker on your car!
Are you creeped out that the government reads your emails, listens to your phone calls, and tracks your Internet searches?
But the NSA spy program keeps us safe from terrorists, right?
It didn't stop the terrorists that bombed the Boston Marathon. In fact, in sworn testimony to Congress, intelligence officials were forced to admit mass government surveillance on innocent Americans has never prevented a terrorist attack!
Nor did it protect France. They have fewer protections than we do and they still failed to stop the terrorist attacks.
How much liberty are you willing to give up to be kept "safe"?
Please join us for our December meeting to learn more about the NSA spying program and what you can do to help stop it.
You can also help Campaign for Liberty turn up the heat by signing the “Stand with Rand on the NSA” petition to your representative and senators.
Join us on Tuesday, December 8, where we’ll discuss how to protect ourselves from more government intrusion.
We’ll be meeting at a NEW location - the Montgomery County Central Branch Library in the large meeting room - in Conroe at 7:00 p.m. Please be sure to bring a friend.
We need YOUR help to fight back!

Petitioners Denied their Constitutional Rights
Campaign for Liberty activist are fighting to maintain constitutional rights here in Texas. While lawyers and city officials are taking them away. They say it is "illegal" to petition your government. At least, when it comes to dangerous unconstitutional red light cameras. They are desperate to hang on to the money generated by this highway extortion scheme. First they pick the pockets of Willis drivers then they steal their right to vote. With your help we can take our rights back! Willis Officials Dismiss Petition to Ban Red Light Cameras
January Monthly Meeting
You are cordially invited to the Montgomery County Campaign for Liberty January meeting.
It's 2015. The legislative season is upon us. Nobody's life, liberty, or property is safe.
We need to get busy working to stop the bad guys and advocate for legislation to fix what they broke.
We are here to Campaign for Liberty!
Please join us on Tuesday, January 27th, at 6:30 p.m. We’ll meet at the Denny’s in Conroe.
Be sure to invite all your liberty-minded friends to this event!
We’ll discuss the ongoing Red Light Camera battle in Montgomery County. We were very successful in our efforts to obtain signatures to force the camera issue on the ballot in Willis, and we will keep fighting the local corruption.
Magnolia tells us they are planning to renew their unconstitutional camera contract in May. That isn't good enough for Montgomery County.
We’ll discuss how to strengthen our right to keep and bear arms here in Texas, by advocating for Constitutional Carry, HB 195 in the legislative session.
We'll discuss ways to put political pressure on some of our wayward politicians.
These tactics can be learned by taking a One Day class, presented by FACL, the Foundation for Applied Conservative Leadership.
We are planning a class in February 28th Register now!
Finally, we’ll have a brief "open mic" session to give you the opportunity to address the group on a liberty issue you care about. When you sign in, make a note that you have something to share with the group. We’ll keep these at 1-2 minutes.
We need YOUR help to fight back!

Montgomery County Liberty Activists
Join Campaign For Liberty, Montgomery County and let's ensure our children grow up in a Constitutional Republic.
A liberty activist’s work is never done. Some of our recent projects include Amending the City Charter of Willis to Ban Red Light Cameras via petition drive, watch for it on the ballot. We worked the polling locations in Conroe to get the Red Light Cameras voted out. They will soon be coming down. We petitioned the Sherriff's office to end the unconstitutional drone program. We are currently working on our gun laws to reflect how Texans feel about the second amendment. We would like to strengthen Texas gun laws by supporting legislation to constitutional carry hand guns, like many other states.
As many of our elected officials continue to treat our Constitution with contempt, it is more important than ever that we actively participate in government at all levels and reinsert common sense into the political conversation.
Activists are working on important initiatives at the local, state, and national levels, and staff members are working hard to provide the training and support you need in order to be successful.
There is no more important individual in our army of ideas and civic action than the local activist. The local activist gets our message to their community, identifies like-minded patriots, and mobilizes them to take action.
The goal of each one of us should be to win our own neighborhood for liberty. You can play a pivotal role in training, organizing and mobilizing the people who will select and elect liberty-minded candidates for a wide variety of offices, ranging from Congress to your local school board. You will also lead the charge in fighting for or against local initiatives—effectively transforming your government where it matters most—in your own backyard.
You are the first and most important link in the chain that makes up our representative form of government, and the role you play is essential to grassroots mobilization.
You’ve already taken a very important step in winning your liberties back by signing up as a member.
Here is a list of things you can do to get started building your network of supporters and winning battles:
Attend your local government meetings. Winning our liberties back will require participation in all levels of government, and attendance at meetings such as City Council, County Board, School Board, etc. is essential to keeping abreast of local issues and holding our elected officials accountable. Low attendance allows these officials to operate under the radar, and they make decisions that are not in your best interest as a result. Be sure to take detailed notes so you can share important details with your neighbors and other local activists.
Visit your neighbors and let them know what happened at the meetings you attended—ask them for assistance in passing or defeating initiatives that require attention. If you are able, compose a petition that your neighbors can sign voicing their agreement with you on these issues. You cannot always rely on people to show up for a meeting, but you can demonstrate their support or objections through signed petitions.
Attend meetings and become a source of influence in the local political party of your choice. Changing the make-up of party structures and providing a major source of influence for the grassroots within the party of your choice is integral to our success.
As you begin building your network of supporters by attending the different meetings and visiting your neighbors, be sure to keep records of contact information, issues of concern, and the steps you took or will take to achieve your goals. Once you find an ally, be sure to keep in touch with them to help each other remain motivated.
Finally, keep your eyes open for Campaign for Liberty training courses near you. Hosted by FACL Our staff is working hard to train activists all across the country. As soon as training is available near you, you will receive notice via email (provided you have signed up for our email alerts.)
Please sign up for email alerts so you can join us as we make Montgomery County a better place to live.
