WHO WE ARE GET INVOLVED CANDIDATE SURVEYS ON THE ISSUES ABOUT AUDIT THE FED

KS Leg Can't Be Trusted With Article V

Thanks to you and other concerned Kansans like you, the bill calling for a disastrous Article V Convention was defeated this legislative session, but we can’t let down our guard.

You see, many of the legislators who voted for an Article V convention --12 in the Kansas Senate this year, and 29 in the Kansas House in 2016 who still hold an elected position-- also voted to raid your pocketbook and throw your liberty under the bus by voting for issues such as: record tax hikes, ObamaCare expansion, Common Core, and/or gun control.

It is disturbing that there are so many legislators who claim to want to restrict the power of government but vote to restrict your freedom instead.

Here are those hypocrite legislators and their anti-liberty votes:

Your involvement will make a huge difference in this fight, so please act now to help us hold them accountable.

Subject: No New Taxes, No Gun Control, No Article V Convention

Dear Kansas legislator,

I am writing to you because I oppose an Article V convention.

Kansas Campaign for Liberty has helped me verify that you are among a group of legislators who voted for an Article V convention while also making anti-liberty votes on one or more of these issues: huge tax hikes, Obamacare expansion, Common Core, and/or gun control.

To me, it is preposterous that you would vote for an Article V convention, pretending that you can fix Washington D.C., when your record shows that you won’t even protect all of our liberties here in Kansas.

Therefore, I demand that you now oppose any proposal for an Article V convention, and devote your energy to truly protecting all liberties for all Kansans.

Respectfully,

(Your Name Here)
Concerned Kansan
