Cruz Challenges Emanuel on Guns

Following up on last week's post on Dianne Feinstein's Cosmetic Features Ban, I mentioned in that post a letter, which Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel had sent around pressuring TD Bank and Bank of America to stop lending money to gun manufacturers.

At the time I noted that if the banks gave in, Americans should boycott them both.

This week, Senator Cruz penned a letter to Rahm Emanuel, Bank of America, TD Bank Group, Smith & Wesson, and Sturm, Ruger & Co., welcoming the gun manufacturers to Texas with open arms, should the banks cave to Emanuel's demands. Even offering to introduce the CEO's to financial institutions located in Texas who would be more than willing to lend to their companies.

Cruz notes that by Rahm's demands, it's clear the gun-grabbers' goal is to totally prevent law-abiding Americans from exercising their Second Amendment rights.

As Feinstein noted in her press conference introducing her gun ban legislation, “The purpose is to dry up the supply of these weapons over time...”

What better way to prevent Americans from owning any firearms over time than by putting the gun manufacturers out of business. That's exactly what Rahm Emanuel and other greedy gun-grabbers want to do -- Constitution be damned!

Kudos to Senator Cruz for standing up to them.
